With overall market share rising to an enviable 35% and yearly growth reaching between 15% and 20% in the last 22 years, CCS, a Japanese maker of LED lighting solutions for machine-vision, has expanded its operations in the United States with the opening of a new testing laboratory in California.

The new facility in the city of San Jose will allow CCS America, based in Burlington, Massachusetts, to widen its marketing efforts to Mexico and Central America, as the Japanese subsidiary has built a customer base dominated by non-Japanese manufacturers.
“The global business is very important because our customers are global. Our concept is that we give the same solutions and the same product service anywhere in the world in order to fit our customer needs,” said CCS America President Shuji Morimoto.
“We’re open to new partners. Our focus is about helping educate customers and focus on giving support and solutions,” Shuji said.
CCS is based in Kyoto, Japan and has testing rooms in Texas, San Jose, as well offices oversees in China, Taiwan, Belgium, Thailand, Singapore.
